USC Sporting Clays and 5 Stand Range
For those looking for a special shotgun shooting challenge, the sporting clays range at the United Sportsmen’s Club will certainly provide it! Ten different stations with up to three shooting stands per station and an endless variety of targets and presentations will challenge even the most accomplished shooter. Sporting clays provides great practice for those seeking to improve their hunting skills and it is a nice alternative to the standard trap and skeet ranges. Other amenities include: for sale ammunition, ear plugs and loaner shell belts. Club member cost for a round of 50 is $10.00, $12 for non-member guests.
The 5 stand range features multiple wireless clay target machines and covered shooting stands. This range is perfect for those wanting a fast round of 25 “sporting clays-like” targets without walking the sporting clays trail. Cost for a round of 25 targets is $5.00 for members and $6.00 for non-member guests. The 5 stand range is open every Sunday from October through March and every first and last Sunday from April through September. Times are 10:00 am to 2:00 PM.
From October through March we are open every Sunday starting at 10:00 am with the last group going out at 2:00 PM, weather provided.
From April through September we are open every Wednesday night starting at 5:00 PM and every first and last Sunday of the month, starting at 10:00 am – with the last group going out at 2:00 PM unless otherwise noted on the schedule.
